prenup.nz

For family lawyers

prenup.nz helps New Zealand couples understand contracting out agreements and produce a serious draft: disclosure schedules completed, property elections made, both partners reviewed and approved, certificate pages ready. Then the law takes over: section 21F requires each partner to take independent advice from their own lawyer before anything binds.

That is where listed firms come in. When a couple in your region finishes a draft, they are shown the participating firms for their region at exactly the moment they need two lawyers. These are not cold enquiries: they arrive with the work already started, a certification-ready draft in hand, and a statutory reason to instruct.

How listing works

  • A flat monthly subscription per firm. No charge per enquiry, no percentage of your fees, ever. Enquiry volumes are visible to you in a dashboard, but they never affect the price of a given month.
  • At most two listed firms per region, so a listing means real exclusivity. Launch regions: Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch.
  • Founding firms in each region join on introductory terms in exchange for a testimonial and a commitment to respond to enquiries promptly. Pricing is discussed as part of your application.
  • Your listing is yours: your firm name, your practitioners if you wish, your wording. We verify applicants against the NZ Law Society register before listing.
  • Transparency both ways: directory pages tell couples that listed firms pay a flat subscription to appear, and that prenup.nz is never paid per enquiry.
