Contracting out agreements have strict formal requirements. Under section 21F of the Property (Relationships) Act 1976, an agreement is void unless it is in writing and signed, each partner receives independent legal advice from their own lawyer before signing, each signature is witnessed by that lawyer, and the lawyer certifies that the effect and implications of the agreement were explained. Nothing you draft using information from this site is binding until that process is complete.
